There are a lot of ads and commercials on TV now about bundling Homeowners and Auto Insurance together. So what is all the hype about? Certain insurance carriers offer 10%, 20%, or even 30% savings when putting both products together. This is true; there can be substantial discounts for this. But, that may not still be the best option if you are looking to save on your insurance premiums. In Myrtle Beach and coastal areas of South Carolina it can be difficult to bundle these products together. While there are a few carriers that can generally do this, there are often stipulations. Several carriers are not currently writing any new home insurance within a certain distance to the coast or in coastal counties at all. Other carriers can offer home insurance, but will exclude wind and hail damage from the policy. Even some other carriers will only write new or newer built homes. So, when a company or agency says it can bundle your policies together there may be a catch.
Having said that, Davis & Massey Insurance Agency does have access to bundle your home and auto insurance together in Myrtle Beach with the same carrier in most cases. Or, we can place both policies within our agency and still offer multi-line discounts. Both of these options usually result in savings for our customer. In fact, we can bundle your home, auto, motorcycle, golf cart, umbrella, and boat policies within our agency.  We have the experience to handle all lines of your personal insurance and we will present the best options to save money on your home and auto insurance.
